After the long holiday weekend, work resumed this morning, and the sound of hammering filled the air as the carpenters worked on the gang forms that will be used in the construction of the walls of the substation. Meanwhile, the ironworkers continue to add rebar in some areas. All of this is being done in anticipation of the return of the concrete trucks on Saturday, when they will be pouring another 108 yards of concrete, this time in order to build the walls of the substation. So it won't be long until we see the actual substation begin to take shape.
