Day 316: 9 September 2013

The concrete truck was back again on Saturday to pour the west and north walls of the substation. The results of the pour remained hidden behind the gang forms while the concrete cured over the weekend.

Today, the gang forms were removed revealing the concrete walls. At long last, the actual substation is starting to take shape.

Finally, the answer to last week's pressing question was answered by a commenter. The figure in profile on many of the vehicles is Frank H. "Bud" Paschen, founder and chairman of F. H. Paschen/S.N.Nielsen.
