It was a long and busy day of removing gang forms today. A few hours after work started, the skies opened up and it poured rain for about an hour. But then, the sun came out, work resumed, and the day turned hot and humid.

After the rain, brooms and sump pumps had to be put into service at Lake Substation. |
The wooden framework of the gang forms from the central section of the west wall were carefully removed by crane.
By late afternoon, the last few pieces of gang form were being cut away from the rebar with the help of what looked like a Sawzall.
As the late afternoon sun beamed down on a long day's work, the crew headed home for the night.
